Leading the Next Generation of Restorative Innovation

To achieve this mission, our R&D team develops smart, globally scalable solutions that remove barriers to care. We’re proud to introduce our revolutionary iCAD file format, which dramatically compresses digital dentistry files. This results in much faster download and upload speeds, while allowing instant access to highly customizable dental design automation services by extracting dental patterns from large databases.

Since 2015, we’ve invested over $10 million in R&D to push the boundaries of what’s possible in digital dentistry. We’ve filed six patents in total – three provisional applications currently in process, and three already granted in Canada, the U.S., Europe, South Korea, and India. Each step reflects our commitment to innovation, global growth, and delivering real impact to clinicians and patients alike.

Our team of over 60 exceptional employees includes a mix of dental technicians, software engineers and machine learning specialists who work closely with more than 10 practicing dentists on clinical testing to bring scientific innovation into real-world dentistry.

In 2017, we founded AiCAD Inc., an IP-focused division dedicated to advancing Augmented Intelligence in Computer-Aided Design – ensuring that every breakthrough we develop delivers meaningful impact.

Powered by the iCAD file format, our AI system analyzes thousands of digital impressions, detects patterns with precision, and automatically generates highly accurate restorations in real time.

To bring this to life, we’re working on our first solution – iGDS, which is already in testing. It allows dentists to design abutments based on manufacturer specifications – preventing chair side modifications to crowns, reducing hassle, and improving crown retention. It can also be used to 3D print custom crowns in a single visit, offering more flexibility and precision.

We will deliver this capability to dentists through an AI-as-a-Service (AiaaS) model – where clinics can access powerful tools on demand and only pay for what they use. It’s simple, affordable, and built to support real-world dentistry.

And this is just the beginning. Soon, the same platform will enable AI-powered tools for orthodontics, implantology, and more – helping clinicians work faster, smarter, and with greater control.
